About us
Founded in 2003, LABEL ANIM has, since its inception, focused on producing animated television series for children, such as Kung-Foot, Magic Planet, Les P’tits Cuistots, and Anatole Latuile 1 and 2 (created by Anne Didier, Olivier Muller, and Clément Devaux (Bayard)), as well as feature-length films such as My Mom Is in America, She Met Buffalo Bill (created by Jean Regnaud and Émile Bravo (Gallimard)), which received a Special Mention at the 2013 Annecy Festival and was nominated for a César Award).
LABEL ANIM has also just delivered its brand-new series to Canal+: La Rose Écarlate, adapted from the best-selling comic book created by Patricia Lyfoung (Delcourt).In 2022, LABEL ANIM partnered with the animation production and services studio 2 MINUTES to create the MADGIC group.
In a globalized audiovisual market that demands both strong artistic vision and extreme adaptability to demand, as well as industrial-scale production capabilities, the creation of MADGIC is built on synergies between creative and technical resources centered around a shared vision of the producer’s craft, establishing a major player in the French audiovisual industry.
Our fully integrated expertise allows us to manage and optimize the entire production chain, from development to production, and from manufacturing to post-production.
Meet the team
Guillaume GALLIOT
Guillaume Galliot joined Thibaut Chatel as an executive producer in 2005 when Label Anim was founded.
Since then, he has produced more than 300 episodes of animated series, including La Rose Écarlate, Anatole Latuile, Kung-Foot, Magic Planet, and Les P’tits Cuistots, as well as a feature-length animated film: Ma Maman est en Amérique, elle a rencontré Buffalo Bill (nominated for a César Award).
Guillaume GALLIOT
Thibaut Chatel , an author, director, and producer, founded Label Anim in 2003. Since then, he has created animated series such as Kangoo Juniors, Kung-Foot, Magic Planet, and Les P'tits Cuistots, among others, and co-directed the feature film My Mom Is in America, She Met Buffalo Bill, which was nominated for a César Award.
Mathilde MOUNIER
Animation series and feature film producer, Mathilde Mounier joined Label Anim in 2025 to lead its development.
A graduate of the Institut Supérieur des Médias de Paris and ESCP Business School’s MS in Media, Mathilde began her career in 2016, working in the development of unscripted formats and documentaries.
She then moved into writing children’s content for Disney Channel before specializing in animation. She went on to work with several studios, including Gaumont and Xilam, where she developed animated series and feature films for both traditional broadcasters such as France Télévisions and streaming platforms such as Netflix. In 2024, she joined Method, part of Mediawan Kids & Family, as a Producer.
