About us
Founded in 2003, LABEL ANIM has, since its inception, focused on producing animated television series for children, such as Kung-Foot, Magic Planet, Les P’tits Cuistots, and Anatole Latuile 1 and 2 (created by Anne Didier, Olivier Muller, and Clément Devaux (Bayard)), as well as feature-length films such as My Mom Is in America, She Met Buffalo Bill (created by Jean Regnaud and Émile Bravo (Gallimard)), which received a Special Mention at the 2013 Annecy Festival and was nominated for a César Award).
LABEL ANIM has also just delivered its brand-new series to Canal+: La Rose Écarlate, adapted from the best-selling comic book created by Patricia Lyfoung (Delcourt).In 2022, LABEL ANIM partnered with the animation production and services studio 2 MINUTES to create the MADGIC group.
In a globalized audiovisual market that demands both strong artistic vision and extreme adaptability to demand, as well as industrial-scale production capabilities, the creation of MADGIC is built on synergies between creative and technical resources centered around a shared vision of the producer’s craft, establishing a major player in the French audiovisual industry.

Meet the team
Mathilde MOUNIER
Mathilde Mounier heads up development at Label Anim and Label Image
After completing a preparatory course in literature, studying journalism at the Institut Supérieur des Médias de Paris, and then obtaining a Master’s in Media from ESCP Business School, Mathilde began her career in 2016 in the development of series formats and documentaries.
She initially worked as an investigative journalist for several production companies, among them Mediawan, Banijay, Effervescence, J2F Production and Terminal 9 Studios. In this role, she collaborated with numerous broadcasters, including France 5, Arte, Canal+, RMC Découverte and Planète+.
She then turned her hand to writing children’s programmes for Disney Channel before specialising in the animation sector. She went on to work at various studios, notably Gaumont Animation and Xilam, where she developed animated series and feature films for both traditional broadcasters such as France Télévisions and streaming platforms such as Netflix. Then, in 2024, she became a producer at Mediawan Kids & Family, where she developed new animated series.
This dual expertise, gained in both documentary filmmaking and animation, enables her to bring a cross-disciplinary editorial perspective and to support writers, artists and partners in the conception and development of ambitious projects aimed at the French and international markets.
